Ficus Education partners with franchise operators to implement structured, employer-sponsored education benefits centered on fully online degree programs through University of the Cumberlands and supported by Kaplan-powered readiness pathways.  What does the Ficus education benefit include? The program includes access to 120+ fully online Associate, Bachelor’s, and Master’s degree pathways through University of the Cumberlands, doctoral programs for operators, Kaplan-powered GED preparation, and ACT/SAT course licenses.  Is tuition fully covered? Yes. Tuition for participating team members is fully covered. Required textbooks are included, and there is no graduation fee.  What is University of the Cumberlands? University of the Cumberlands is an accredited institution serving approximately 22,000 online students nationwide. Programs are delivered fully online and structured in 8-week enrollment cycles designed for working adults.  Are textbooks included? Yes. Required textbooks are included as part of the education benefit. There are no additional textbook fees for participating team members.  Is there a graduation fee? No. There is no graduation fee associated with degree completion.  How do GED and ACT/SAT programs fit into the model? Kaplan-powered GED preparation supports team members who need a high school equivalency credential before enrolling in degree programs. ACT and SAT course licenses are available for team members pursuing broader college pathways.  Who can enroll in degree programs? Eligibility is determined by the participating franchise operator. Degree programs are designed for working adults seeking Associate, Bachelor’s or Master’s credentials.  Are doctoral programs available? Yes. Doctoral programs through University of the Cumberlands are available to Operators as an add-on.  How often do classes start? Enrollment cycles run in structured 8-week terms throughout the year, allowing team members to begin without long waiting periods. Is this program limited to Chick-fil-A? No. Ficus partners with franchise operators across multiple brands and industries seeking structured workforce education solutions.  How do operators get started? Operators can schedule a brief overview conversation to explore implementation timelines, organizational fit, and onboarding steps. Does Ficus Education offer English as a Second Language (ESL)? Yes. Ficus Education offers ESL support through its Language Learning offering, combining self-paced learning and AI-powered practice with live, instructor-led group lessons.  What languages are available? English and 13 additional languages, including Spanish, are available through Language Learning.  How is Language Learning different from self-paced language apps?
