Team Members at this location are eligible to receive employer-sponsored higher education benefits! What does that mean? FREE college.

About the Education Benefits:

  • Associates, bachelors and masters degrees available 
  • More than 25 areas of study available
  • Online classes with asynchronous schedules -- study and complete coursework on your schedule each week
  • The only cost to students is the purchase of books
    • If the student stops working at an eligible Chick-fil-A store, they are able to finish their current class load. However, once those classes are finished they will need to assume tuition payments moving forward. Team Members can continue taking classes as long as they work for a Chick-fil-A store that is enrolled in the program.
  • Participating Team Members need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) as well as the Remarkable Futures™ Scholarship from Chick-fil-A each year.

About Our Higher Education Partner - Point University

Education benefits for Team Members are available at the higher education partner, Point University. Founded in 1937, Point University is an accredited four-year university located in West Point, Georgia. The private, Christian university provides online education for students to earn associates, bachelors or masters degrees. Point University offers a character core path for students not interested in biblical studies. 

  • More than 25 areas of study
  • Classes start every 8 weeks
  • The only cost to students is the purchase of books
  • Team Members can continue taking classes as long as they work for a Chick-fil-A store that is enrolled in the program.

Admission Requirements to Point University 

  • Admission is granted by the Point University Admission Committee on the basis of satisfactory evidence that a student has the ability to succeed at Point University. 
  • The majority of admitted applicants have at least a 2.5 high school GPA. 
  • Point University does not require applicants to submit standardized test scores. SAT, ACT, GRE nor GMAT scores are required to apply for the online program. 
  • If an applicant does not meet the criteria for admission, they can complete the Point Admission Assessment (PAA). This at-home, self-paced  assessment helps ensure that the applicant is ready for college- level work. If they meet criteria, they will offer admission.
  • Students with alternative high school completion (like GED) are also considered for admission.
  •  94% of applicants who completed their admission file were admitted for the academic year 2021- 2022.
  • Application Process takes approximately 6-8 weeks

Flexible Schedules and Feasible Graduation Timelines

  • Students may take one (1) or two (2) classes during each 8 week "session"
  • Classes are determined based upon the area of study 
  • Point University offers three (3) terms per year, each comprised of two (2) sessions 
  • Each class equals three (3) credit hours 
    Students can take maximum classes per session, every session for all three terms and complete the required degree hours:
    • Associates Degree = 60 hours
    • Bachelors Degree = 120 hours
